Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) has been selected by France’s Pensions Reserve fund (FRR) to manage a Japanese equity mandate.
The call for tenders in February 2024 concerned an all-cap Japanese equity management mandate with a ‘blend’ approach. LOIM, together with its long-standing regional partner Alpha Japan Asset Advisors, has been selected by the public institution to manage €150m (CHF 143m) of the total €400m mandate.
The FRR is a state pension fund that had €21.2bn in assets at the end of 2023. As a member of the Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance, it is committed to reducing the net greenhouse gas emissions of its investment portfolio to a level compatible with the Paris Agreement.
