Syz names advisory, DPM and economist chiefs

Bank Syz announced three senior hires comprising a chief economist, head of discretionary portfolio management (DPM) and head of advisory.

Reto Cueni, the chief economist, spent more than a decade at Vontobel before leaving earlier this year. He is based in Zurich.

Gianluca Oderda, who will serve as the head of discretionary portfolio management, has worked in multi-asset portfolio construction, alternative investments and systematic strategies. He was previously at Credit Suisse, before joining UBS during the takeover. He also worked for Ersel Asset Mangement, Pictet Asset Management and Zurich Financial Services.
