Jacobs family’s private equity firms announce merger

Jacobs Holding and Telemos Capital, two private equity firms affiliated with the billionaire Jacobs family, are merging.

Nicolas and Philippe Jacobs will co-chair the combined firm, which takes the name Jacobs Capital.

Jacob Polny, current CEO of Telemos Capital, will take on the role of CEO of Jacobs Capital, while Timothy Franks, the CEO of Jacobs Holding, is stepping down.
