Vontobel creates new CHF bond head position

Vontobel has appointed Gregor Kapferer as head of CHF bonds, the company confirmed to Citywire. It is a newly created role.

Kapferer joined Vontobel in November 2023 as a senior portfolio manager within the CHF bonds division. Before that, he worked as a senior portfolio manager for six years at Swiss Life Asset Managers. 

Since 1 January, Kapferer has been managing the CHF 543m Sustainable Swiss Franc Corporate Bond and the CHF 125m Sustainable Swiss Franc Bond funds alongside Melih Sahin.
