HSBC Asset Management has appointed Thorsten Michalik as CEO of Europe, UK and Americas.
‘He is responsible for both sales and entity management, with accountability for country CEOs in those regions,’ the group confirmed.
Citywire understands it is a newly created position. Michalik was already head of sales for Europe, Middle East, Americas and wholesale, as well as CEO of HSBC Asset Management Germany.
