Geneva-headquartered Edmond de Rothschild (EdR) has appointed the chief executive for its Middle East operations, effective 18 August, according to a LinkedIn post.
Jonathan Atlani succeeds Laith Al Kurdi, who served as interim CEO following the resignation of former MENA CEO Ali Raza in August 2024. Al Kurdi will remain with the bank in his original role as a Dubai-based private banker.
Atlani joined the Swiss private bank in 2019 and has held a range of senior positions, most recently serving as chief operating officer of the external asset manager (EAM) desk. Before joining EdR, he has held roles at UBS and KPMG France.
