Investec Switzerland buys African expat private bank business

Investec Switzerland recently acquired a business from UK wealth management company Brown Shipley, focused largely on international high-net-worth Southern African expats.

‘The acquisition supports Investec’s strategy to further develop its private client offering in Switzerland,’ wrote an Investec spokesperson.

Investec declined to provide any further details about the transaction, including the assets under management it will gain as a result of the deal.
