Julius Baer hired Christoph Nickl as head of business architecture and transformation, it has confirmed to Citywire.
Nickl, who joined this month, recently served in a senior internal consulting post at UBS. He previously spent more than 15 years at Credit Suisse, in roles including chief operating officer at Credit Suisse Funds.
Earlier this week, Julius Baer made its second cost-saving announcement of the year as it pledged to save more without cutting jobs. The latest plan focuses on optimising the operating model, process and IT simplifications, as well as cost discipline.
