Mayoral candidate takes investment chief role at IAM

Orun Palit has joined independent asset manager Brennwald & Partner as chief investment officer.

Palit, who announced the news on LinkedIn, was chief market strategist and a  relationship manager at Private Client Bank. Before that, he was the equity head at AIG Private Bank and an institutional investment adviser at Credit Suisse.

He is also the Green Liberal Party (GLP) Wettingen’s nominee for the municipal council and mayor, with elections coming up in September. Palit has been the head of the GLP in Wettingen since 2014.
