Ex-Berner Kantonalbank (BEKB) chief financial officer (CFO) and deputy CEO, Schärli Alois has joined the board of directors at Migros Bank and has also been named as the head of audit and risk committee.
His election to the board comes in succession of Isabel Stirnimann Schaller, who reached the maximum statutory term of office, having served since 2012.
Schärli served as CFO for BEKB since 2003 and as deputy CEO from 2019, until his retirement in April 2024.
