GAM Investments is to delegate all emerging market debt investment strategies to Gramercy Funds Management.
Citywire + rated Paul McNamara, GAM’s investment director for EM debt, will retire later in the year. Investment manager Markus Heider will remain with GAM as the team transitions.
Gramercy is an emerging markets specialist with $6bn in assets under management. Chaired by former Pimco CEO Mohamed El-Erian, it has offices in the USA, UK, Argentina and Mexico.
